Bike Tow Leash STD Length

Dog Bike Leash for Riding safely; with your dog(s). Yellow Standard length Bike Tow Leash with standard clamp recommended for bikes, trikes & mobility scooters. Amazingly fun and stable, the BTL prevents tiping and tangling making biking with your dog enjoyably stress free and rewarding. The BTL automatically reacts to the dogs movements as you would with an extra arm mounted low on your bike. It has a shoulder , elbow and wrist resilient barrier between your dog and bike to protect and gently communicate bike direction and speed changes. No special training is needed for dogs 10 to 185 pounds. The Bike Tow Leash comes with use instructions and mounts without tools in less than 1 minute to LHS of bicycles. On some bikes and trikes with two rear wheels, right side mounting requires an additional accessory from BikeTowLeash.com. When choosing color, for safety, we recommend a contrast between Bike Tow Leash color and bike so people can see your dog(s) are attached to your bike. Fits on both sides of wide tire bikes with or without disc brakes. Attaches directly to trikes with a single rear wheel and mobility scooters. Dog Coupler 17.5 inches Long

Dog Bike Ride with a second dog attached to a single Bike Tow Leash! Attaches to second dog's collar to same collar ring as the Bike Tow Leash. Stiffened for excellent communication and positioning between dogs and bike and to prevent tangling. The length is 17.5 inches long when straight with a swivel clip at both ends. Curved shape provides a way for the cord to pass from first dog's collar to the second dog's collar. Clips are mounted rattlefree so the Dog Coupler provides positioning communication between dogs like the BTL to the bike. DC also eliminates tripping and tangling. DC triple-spring- action, loose -leash, rewards dogs for correct position and tracking same course together. Tracking together, versus pulling away, also reduces pad wear and tears, making longer and more frequent rides possible. Also, provides easier multi-dog walks with a single regular leash versus tangling additional leashes.

Adult Trike Adapter

Special adapter to safely use BTL on adult Trikes with two rear wheels. Provides mounting location behind rear wheel to guard against rear wheel from running over your dog. Clamps trikes with 1 1/2 to 1 5/8 inch diameter axle tubes including: Sun, Schwin Meridian, Torker Tristar HD and Worksman. Don't see your trike make, just send make and model. Then wrap a tape measure around the axle and give us the diameter by dividing by pi or 3.1416.

This unique special adapter is required to use BTL on Adult Trikes with 2 rear wheels. This adapts the Bike Tow Leash to fit on either the left or right side of two-rear-wheel-trikes. Trike must have 1 1/2 to 1/5/8 inch diameter rear axle tube as shown in photo. Works on Sun, Schwinn Meridian, Torker Tristar HD, Trailmate Traveler, Desoto, Port O Trike Meteor and Worksman.

Required for BTL use on all 2 rear wheel Trikes. Works on recumbent trikes. NOT REQUIRED for trikes with 2 front wheels ex. Catrike, ICE and TerraTrike.

Extra Clamp Knobs and Plate

Dog Bike Leash Replacement Inner Clamp and Knobs. Just in case you want to use your Bike Tow Leash on a bike with disc brakes and it takes a little longer to install. Replacement clamp and Knobs if you lost yours on the trail. Additional spacer plate lets you leave the clamp safely on the bike for even quicker BTL installs. Great for some left side installations with disc brakes as in photo.

Dog Chair Leash Special Needs BTL Shortened for Wheel Chairs

Dog Wheelchair Leash. Shorter version of the original Bike Tow Leash. Shortened because chairs aren't as long as bicycles. Keeps the dog closer for better control and safety. Mounts toward rear of power chairs and forward on manual chairs. For clamping to round chair structure, order Chain Stay Clamp. Please contact us with your special needs applications, with; photos, chair model. Providing dimensions before ordering will allow us to pre-adjust the BTL to your dog's height as well.

Quick Mount

Dog Bike Leash mount plate right or left side attachment. Provides extra ease of sharing the Bike Tow Leash between bikes , installing with some disc brakes or use on right side of bike. Allows for quicker install and rapid height adjustment. Additionally, prevents chain from hitting clamp on RHS installaions. Use requires minimum of 5/8 inch [16 mm] flat or open area around the rear axle. For solid axles 3/8 or 9mm diameter axles you need a 1/4 inch extra axle length. So installed you will have 5 full turns of thread engagement when tightening the nut. For bikes with quick release lever and 5mm dia. skewers as shown, extra axle length is not necessary. Comes with special recessed axle nut, 5mm bolt, washer and nut to engage slot and threaded hole in frame, if present, for extra security. Instructions included and video online.

Chain Stay Clamp

Dog Bike Leash attachment for Bike Tow Leash. Recommended for bikes having chain stays with tall or straight sides. This is so when clamped to the chain stay close to the center of the rear wheel, the clamp cannot rotate around he chain stay. Most newer design bikes having aluminum or Carbon Fiber frames can use this clamp on the right or the lides sids.
